Experimental Studies on the Effects of Jeogbogryeongtang

Abstract
|
|
|
In order to investigate experimentally the clinical effects of Jeogbogryeongtang and compare the effects of Jeogbogryeongtang in two types, experimental studies were carried out with experimental animals.
The results of the studies were summerized as follows :
1. The solid extract of Jeogbogryeongtang showed significant action on antipyretic action. And the solid extract of Jeogbogryeongtang were effective on antipyretic action in comparison with the mixture of individual solid extract of Jeogbogryeongtang.
2. The solid extract of Jeogbogryeontang and the mixture of individual solid extract of Jeogbogryeongtang showed significant action on anti-inflamatory action. And the individual solid extract of Jeogbogryeongtang were effective on anti-inflamatory action in comparison with the solid extract of Jeogbogrteongtang.
3. The solid extract of Jeogbogryeongtang´ and the individual solid extract of Jeogbogryeongtang showed significant action on Diuretic effects. And the solid extract of Jeogbogryeongtang were effective on the urine volume in comparison with the mixture of individual solid extract of Jeogbogryeongtang. And the individual solid extract of Jeogbogryeongtang were effective on urine ele-trolyte(K+, Na+, Cl-) in comparison with the solid extract of Jeogbogryeongtang.
According to the above results, effects based on oriental medical references were consistent with the actual experimental effects. And speaking of two types of Jeogbogryeongtang, the solid estract of Jeogbogryeongtang and the mixture of individual solid extract of Jeogbogryeongtang were different in their experimental effects
